DLA Piper sponsorship boost for SYITC
The high profile backing will help support SYITC's activities including international events, seminars and services such as EU legislation advice and inward and outward trade missions.
DLA Piper's patronage will allow the organisation to share its worldwide legal expertise and knowledge of international trade deals with hundreds of Yorkshire companies seeking a global foothold.
The partnership also heralds an exciting time for the SYITC as it launches South Yorkshire's inaugural international trade forum at DLA Piper's offices on 20 May, offering networking opportunities and a strong voice for the region's exporters.

DLA Piper's Sheffield office already deals with a wide range of international legal issues for clients such as Firth Rixson and Outokumpu, backed by a multi-lingual team which includes French and Spanish speakers. The International Trade team in Sheffield, headed by commercial partner Roger Gough, advises on all aspects of international trade and cross-border legal risk management.
